Intumescent Coatings for Structural Steel

Intumescent fireproof coatings expand when exposed to heat, creating an insulating barrier that delays steel heating. Systems may be specified for 30, 60, or 120 minutes, depending on the steelwork and supporting evidence. We apply thin-film coatings to beams, columns, and load-bearing structures to the agreed specification, using relevant BS 476 or EN 13381 system data.

Fire-Retardant Paint for Walls & Ceilings

Our fire-retardant coatings can be applied to suitable plasterboard, concrete, timber, and existing painted surfaces where the system evidence supports the use. They can improve surface reaction-to-fire performance in commercial buildings, offices, and public spaces, subject to the specification.

Fireproof Coatings for Wood & Timber

We offer clear and coloured fire-resistant coatings for suitable wood surfaces. Often called fireproof coatings, their performance depends on the tested substrate and system. Door and panel upgrades require supporting evidence for the complete assembly.

Cementitious Fireproofing for Industrial Sites

For large-scale warehouses, factories, and industrial units, we apply specified cementitious fireproof coatings for steel and concrete structures, subject to system and substrate suitability.

Thermal Barrier Coatings for High-Heat Resistance

Our thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) provide insulation for specified high-temperature applications. Heat resistance alone does not demonstrate a tested fire-resistance rating.

Fire-Retardant Paint for Walls, Ceilings & Wood Surfaces

Fire-retardant coatings can improve the reaction-to-fire performance of suitable walls, ceilings, doors, and timber surfaces, helping limit surface flame spread. For fireproofing in office spaces, hotels, or public buildings, the substrate, coating system and required classification must be confirmed. Class 0 and Class 1 appear in older specifications; they do not on their own establish compliance. Clear or coloured finishes can suit modern and heritage buildings where the system evidence supports the application.

Cementitious & Thermal Barrier Coatings for Industrial & High-Heat Environments

For warehouses, manufacturing plants, and industrial facilities, specified cementitious fireproofing can provide passive fire protection for steel and concrete structures. These spray-applied systems insulate the substrate and reduce heat transfer within their assessed use. Thermal barrier coatings serve specialist high-heat applications, including some storage, power plant and aerospace uses; heat resistance alone does not establish a building fire-resistance rating.
